The new SMS Gateway solution follows the main concepts of SOA such as a set of services with simple service interfaces, the loosely-coupled service infrastructure, and reusability.  BEA WebLogic platform is used to integrate services and control component together.  The system has been designed to support various kinds of integration such as HTTP/HTTPS, socket, and text file to be easily integrated with future systems.

• Support SMPP and Check Blocklist – To implement routing machnism while SMS gateway is sending sms via SMSC either dtac instance or DTN instance. This information has been maintained by MNP (Mobile Number Port) system.
• SMS Sender – To provide more simple and lightweight than existing application to send an SMS through SMSC servers which is using the SMPP protocol for backend applications eg. USSD Gateway, IVR Gateway, Marketing PR.
